“Shogun takes the loose textures of Japanese denim and gives them a new twist with stretch. Hickory stripe patterns and herringbone weaves are given a modern twist with intricate weave structures and bespoke dyeing techniques,” explains Baber Sultan, Artistic Milliner’s Director of Product Development and Research.

Sultan emphasizes that the Glitz collection is “extremely popular” because of its unique weaves, coatings, unorthodox fading effects and embellishments. “With Glitz, we have transformed classic denim into a canvas on which you can express yourself through dobby weaves and leather-like coatings. The embellishments add a touch of opulence to the collection and create eye-catching items that draw attention,” he says.
Fabrics that are traceable through FibreTrace– technology and support the circular idea are all the rage for Naveena Denim Mills . Moxit, a 3×1 twill made from 60 percent cotton and 40 percent lyocell, offers an extremely luxurious feel with a light and flowing look.
Other popular fabrics include Paula, a 98 percent cotton and 2 percent elastane fabric with a crisp twill look suitable for unisex styles, Zint, a cotton and elastane construction with moderate stretch and marled character, and Bale, a 92 percent cotton, 6 percent polyester and 2 percent elastane fabric with maximum stretch.
